How much does it cost?

In most cases your insurance will cover physical therapy. To find out more contact your insurance company OR call our office. We work with many insurance companies including Medicare and Medicaid. In some cases, a prescription is required. We are always happy to go over what your costs will be upfront so you are not surprised.

Can I choose where I go for PT?

Isn’t PT just a lot of exercise?

What will my first visit be like?

After being warmly welcomed by our office staff, you will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire about who you are and why your are coming to PT. Then the physical therapist will take you back to find out more about you and do an in depth assessment to determine what PT treatments will be most likely to help you.

Does PT hurt?

Good question! The goal of PT is to reduce pain, not increase it. We always work within a patient’s tolerance and are sensitive to their individual needs. Our goal is for you to leave each visit feeling better than when you came in. In some cases, such as after a surgery, pain is common and can be managed in a variety of ways. In other cases, pain has been persistent over many years making exercise difficult. Whatever the case, our approach will always be focused on finding specific ways to help you reduce pain and increase your quality of life.
